The MASLM is a two-year thesis-based master's program that includes a year of coursework and a year to complete an independent research thesis. This program focuses on how leisure can be a vehicle for change and on how to make the leisure industry more sustainable.
Students can enter this program directly or after completing their Recreation and Sport Management or Tourism Studies diploma. Graduates build their management knowledge and skills and work in diverse organizations, destination marketing organizations, municipal recreation, convention centres, community planning, festival and events, program development, and research companies.
We offer a two-year diploma in Recreation and Sports Management that prepares graduates to work in community program development and delivery.
We offer a two-year diploma in Tourism Studies that prepares students to work for tourism operators, visitor centres, and attractions.
We offer a fully online one-year certificate in event management. Credits from this introductory credential can be used for our diploma and degree program.
